| Since 1993 , Wellman & Warren has
represented and counseled over 200 Network
Marketing and Direct Sales companies. These
companies range in size from brand new start-up
ventures to multi-million dollar a month volume
sales companies.
During that period, Wellman & Warren
has had discussions or negotiations on behalf
of companies with over 30 regulatory agencies
across the country, including Attorney Generals
Offices, the Federal Trade Commission(FTC),
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Department
of Justice officials on both the State and
Federal levels.
In one recent matter, Wellman & Warren
negotiated with the Federal Trade Commission
for a client for a period of a full year.
During this time of sometimes intense discussions,
no lawsuit was filed by the FTC against
the company. The case was successfully settled
with a minimal fine and corrective measures
instituted. The company is still in business
and operating smoothly and gives thanks
to Wellman & Warren for making this
happen.
In another matter, in Tennessee, due to
compliance measures put into effect by Mr.
Warren for a company, Wellman & Warren
were able to successfully deflect a potentially
serious matter with the Attorney General's
office by providing swift and accurate assurances
that the company considered the matter serious
and had taken appropriate action against
the offending party.
